TEL AVIV, Israel — China’s ambassador to Israel used to be chanced on useless at his residence early Sunday, Israeli diplomatic sources and police personal confirmed to NBC News.

NBC News has contacted the Chinese language Embassy in Tel Aviv for comment.

Per the embassy’s internet pages, Du served as an attache to the Soviet Union in the early 1990s. He later served in the Chinese language embassy in Estonia.

He has since then served in various posts with China’s foreign ministry and used to be smitten by policy planning till 2016, when he assumed the function of China’s ambassador to Ukraine.

In February, he used to be appointed to function China’s ambassador to Israel.
