‘Heartbroken’ stars pay tribute after Black Panther actor’s shock death

Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden is among those who have shared their grief at the death of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman.

The Black Panther star has died at the age of 43 after a four-year fight with colon cancer.

Mr Biden wrote on Twitter: “The true power of Chadwick Boseman was bigger than anything we saw on screen.

“From the Black Panther to Jackie Robinson, he inspired generations and showed them they can be anything they want – even super heroes.

“Jill and I are praying for his loved ones at this difficult time.”

Bernice King, daughter of civil rights activist Dr Martin Luther King, wrote: “We never know what people are enduring. Humans…we are wonders.

“Thank you, Chadwick, for gifting us with your greatness in the midst of a painful struggle.”

Model Khloe Kardashian added: “Beyond heartbreaking to hear about Chadwick Boseman passing away.

“My thoughts and prayers are with your family and the ones who are hurting.

“May God bless us all and May we learn to not take a day for granted. Rest In Peace King!”

Actress Reese Witherspoon wrote on Twitter: “May god bless you and carry you home, Chadwick Boseman.

“We lost one of the greats today. His legacy will live on forever in his beloved films and in the heart of everyone who loved him.”

Dule Hill, an actor best known for his role in The West Wing, wrote simply: “No Words. Rest In Peace Brother Chadwick. You Did It.”
